If you plan to do shopping today for Small Business Saturday, or any day, we encourage you to shop in Shaw. There are several businesses where you can shop for gifts, including Wagamama for animal-themed arts and crafts, Pets in the City for your furry family member, City House Country Mouse for holiday wreaths and arrangements, and Gloria’s Unique Boutique for clothing and accessories. If you need to take a break for lunch or snacks, check out SweetArt, Thurman’s in Shaw, Five Aces BBQ, Sasha’s on Shaw, Ice’s Plain and Fancy, and the new kid on the block, Garden on Grand. As an added bonus, the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association recently launched a Deals and Discounts program for association members. Just show your card at any of the current participating businesses and get a deal (if you need a new card, email the association).
