Shop Shaw Small Business Saturday for Your Holiday Gifts
This holiday season avoid the annoying traffic backups and those early morning long lines in the cold. Instead, “Shop Shaw Small Businesses Saturday” on November 30th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm and show your support for our neighborhood and Shop Shaw as part of the National Small Business Saturday!
One of the great things about living in Shaw are the many neighborhood-owned small businesses. You can find many unique gifts for those hard to shop for relatives, co-workers, children, or pets without having to worry about parking or standing in a long line at 3:00 am in the morning.
No matter what you are looking for you can find it at one of the many participating businesses: Bonboni Mercantile Co, Future Ancestor, Wagamama, Lynn Terry Photography, Gloria’s Unique Boutique, Seta and Wild Olive Provisions. Start your day or celebrate that great gift you found by getting something to eat or drink at Fiddlehead Fern Café or Ices Plain and Fancy. In addition, there will be businesses that don’t have store fronts, including Jody Grizzel-West Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, which will have a tent set up next to Fiddlehead Fern Café.
“The holiday season is the busiest time of the year for many of our locally-owned businesses,” said Lauren Thorp, owner of Bonboni Mercantile Co. “We live and work in the neighborhood and encourage neighbors and their friends outside of Shaw to come and see the unique items we have to satisfy all your gift-giving needs, check this site for information.”
Special Deals
The Shop Shaw Saturday event will take place between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Many of these businesses will be offering special discounts, Christmas Cookies and hot chocolate for kids and adults while you shop.
