At the October 7, 2019 Shaw neighborhood meeting, a company called Verano presented a proposal to open a medical marijuana retail location at 4100 Shaw Blvd (the former Imo’s building). They have applied for a license, but do not yet have one. If they receive one, they will be seeking neighborhood support for this retail store. There will be more opportunities to hear from Verano should the process move forward.
