Grand Oak Hill Senior Center
Location: 4168 Juniata St. Louis MO 63116
Our center hosts nutritious lunches to seniors over the age of 60 and disabled people everyday of the week as well as a coffee hour each morning. Here at the center we also play bingo twice a week, conduct exercise class, play Wii, and many other entertaining and socialization activities. Our center offers public computers and internet connection as well as a monthly book club and visiting bookmobile. In addition to our in-house diversions, each month we organize outings such as lunch out, theatre trips and botanical garden tours. Our services are supported by city funding and client donations. We suggest a very reasonable $2 donation for meals and $3 for round trip transportation to and from the senior’s home to our center. We offer these transportation services for people wanting to join us at the center but are unable to get here for lunches. Also, we provide transportation services for medical appointments, beauty shop appointments, banking, shopping and other needs.
